Halina Brooke

Counseling insight focusing on weight-inclusive care


Halina Brooke is a graduate student in marriage and family therapy, and a psychology lab instructor, at Capella University.  She lives in Arizona, where she is engaged in patient advocacy and serves as research assistant to Dr. Michelle May.  As a National Merit Scholar, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from Arizona State University.  Halina has been featured on the All Fired Up podcast with esteemed Australian psychologist Louise Adams and recently spoke on stigmatized illness at the 2018 Association for Size Diversity and Health Conference.  She has a passion for helping individuals and families find resiliency and thrive through challenging medical experiences.
